Big 5 O-Week
29 Dec 2019 to 3 Jan 2020

The Big 5 O-Week organising committee, together with the South African Orienteering Federation, invite you to South Africa’s fifth international five-day orienteering competition.

The Event Centre for Registration will be the picturesque mountain village of Graskop. Registration will be open on Saturday 28 December and on the morning of Day 1. On Days 2 through to 5, registration will be at the competition venue during competition hours.

This is a WRE-IOF World Ranking Event for M21E / W21E categories.

Blue Swallow Festival
In support of conservation of the spectacular Graskop forests and grasslands. A fun festival that celebrates the environment, arts and crafts, and fine food. Attractions include an open- air market offering delicious food, arts and crafts, art exhibitions, nature talks, potjiekos competition and a fun run.

Jock Trail ParkRun
Jock Trail parkrun is a FREE weekly 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 07:00 (Oct - Mar) & 08:00 (Apr - Sep) in The Jock Trail, Graskop Horse Stables, corner of Oorwinning Street and Bloedrivier Avenue, Graskop.

It is not a race against other runners, but a 5km timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan.

Mountain Bike Race

April / May
The annual Forest 2 Falls Mountain Bike Race offers challenging 70km, 35km and 15km routes through the forests and past waterfalls.
